Volcom is having a contest for who can create the best template for a pair of Creedlers (Sandals). If you win, Volcom will use your design template to produce and sell your art in stores. Of course you will be flowed all kinds of V.Co Logical gear from Volcom. Your art will also be included in the Spring 2009 Creedler line.

All you have to do is download the template featured below or print it out, You can design it on the computer or by printing it out you can use paint and or colored pencils. The inspiration of the contest is Environmental and if possible only 3 colors are recommended. When your art is finished all you have to do is upload it and send it in the form below.

The Deadline to turn in your template is September 15th, 2008.

Ok so a few days ago i posted about a brand called Famous Stars And Straps.FSAS has a really strong streetteam with members all over the world.
Basically it's about stickers and tags for the brand that you throw up everywhere you go.

For the past few days I just couldn't stop listening to "The Game".
I really like "My Life" feat. Lil Wayne,"Games Pain" feat. Keyshia Cole,"Dopeboys" feat. Travis Barker,"The Doctors Advocate and a lot of the stuff on "The Documentary".

R.I.P. Jerry Finn

Jerry Finn passed away yesterday! :(

Blink-182 and Morrissey producer Jerry Finn has been taken off life support after suffering a massive brain hemorrhage last month. According to a post on the Prosoundweb forum reprinted on Morrissey-Solo.com, Finn's family made the decision on Saturday.

"Even though he did make snail-like improvement these past 31 days, he is not any better for words and has not had any consistency in the tests that the medical team have done for him," a close Finn friend wrote on the forum. "At this time the hemorrhage has done massive damage to his body which will leave him severely disabled and in need of acute care for the rest of his life. We know Jerry wouldn't want to live like this in a vegetative state."

Finn, 38, got his start as an engineer in the early 1990s before shifting into production on such albums as Rancid's "...And Out Come the Wolves." Among his best-known production credits are Blink-182's "Enema of the State" and Morissey's "You Are the Quarry." Finn has also worked with Green Day, Bad Religion, Sparta, AFI and the Offspring, among many others.

Finn had also lent production to Morrissey's upcoming "Years of Refusal," which has been bumped from a fall release to Feb. 2, 2009, according to Truetoyou.net.

Danny Way fell pretty bad in this years X-Games.Not as bad as Jake Brown last year but it still must have hurt really bad.Here's some footage of his fall and some more behin the scenes stuff.

i'll be in a training camp with my team until friday so no posts until i'm back in berlin.

Soccer

Well i figured i should start posting about my long time hobby and passion: soccer.
I'm playing for something around 10-11 years now i guess.I only played for three different clubs so far.Begining with "VSG Altglienicke",then two years for "1.FC Union Berlin" and now for the sixth year for the "Köpenicker SC".In the last year we placed irst in our division and will now play in the second highest division in our age of Germany the "Regionalliga".Today will be my first day at training again after only a 4 week break.

Anyways I can't wait to play again especially since I have new shoes.

Bill Granger - Public Murders

I just finished reading this book and i really liked it.
The story is set in 1973 in Chicago in a hot summer.
It's about some policemen who try to solve a murder.It's a blond swedish tourist woh is murdered in the Grant Park in Chicago.When they think they caught the killer there's a second public murder.Again a blond good looking woman is killed.So the search for the killer starts again and everything takes a pretty crazy development.The end is really exciting and fascinating.

wet fun

today we went to a big waterpark close chania.usually the drive there takes about 1 1/2 but it took us 2 and more today because our bus driver decided to park on the side of the road for about 40 minutes without getting someone onto the bus or someone leaving it.that happened on the way to the park.hooray for that shit.apart from that it was a rad,fun day.the slides were cool and the weather was perfect.

my girlfriend and i headed down to the beach yesterday to watch the beautiful sunset.it was really nice.

yesterday we found out that we have free wlan internet in our hotel lobby ... after one week ^^.whatever i thought i'd post some pictures of the first days.we were in rethymnon which is a beautiful town and we saw the south of crete.our hotel is close to rethymnon on the north coast.we have a nice pool and a good beach right in front of the hotel.







within the next week we'll get some footage for TheWild Ones Germany so lookout for that.

vacation on kreta

i will spend the following two weeks on kreta.
i'll be there together with my girlfriend and i'm extremly excited.if i have internet over there i'll post pictures and stories on here.so check back within the next days.
